A cold winter day, nearly dark, but perfect to capture this shot. High tide, rough sea and a not too long exposure catch the swirling water that is so hard to see with the naked eye. St Mary's bay is on the kent coast near Dungeness.

We now print these ourselves to order on 220gsm matt paper, giving a much higher quality print than you would expect at this price level, way ahead of mass-produced posters. The print size fits a standard frame size sold by Ikea and many others. Each print has a caption and the name of the photographer, David Purdie printed in the white space below the image.
