5 june 2020 Friday - beginners workshop
beginners days - for those new to it all
For those new to digital photography or who have only ever used their camera as a point-and-shoot. If you want to gain more control over how your pictures are coming out, then this is the day for you.
The day is based around the local area, starting in the gallery to show examples and give you ideas. We will cover things like shutter speeds, focussing, how the lens settings change the way your pictures look, what the ISO settings mean and how to use them, and how you can improve the quality of your pictures by shooting in RAW format. We also cover awareness of light and shade, how to shoot flowers and foliage, composition and so on.
In summary, it’s a one day primer for moving beyond pointing and shooting
The day runs from 10AM to 6PM and the cost is £140 per person - this includes lunch in a pub or cafe, tea and coffee and transport between locations. Maximum 6 people.
Please make sure to give us you phone number (preferably mobile) AND email address. Just in case there is a problem with either we have another way of contacting you. We send out full details about the day, paking info and so on, a week before the day via email.
